Amazon sunset in Laguna Grande (Great Lake): At 150,000 hectares, it is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and, certainly, the most scenic. It is one of 13 lakes on the Cuyabeno wildlife reserve.

Letter to the Sun

In a perpetual but not perpetual rotation, like a top spun too hard, we spin around and around, receiving the sun’s luminous light with each turn, while the shadows remain hidden, awaiting their turn, which will come with the moon, companion to this crazed rotation.

His rays herald life as they spring from space at Earth’s dawn, companion of the rooster and friend of all living beings: there is no plant, nor water that is not warmed by you. You break into the mountain bringing the joy of life, onto the plains like a hymn to the horizon. Simultaneous passenger and vehicle, you show us the universe to tell us of the odyssey of its birth, that which when it burst into space, was the creator of sound and storm, wave and particle, of time and distance. That same one that wants to be seen, contemplated in the most remote confines of the universe, it goes so far, and when it is seen everything has already passed. Messenger of the enormous chain of life, that is never-ending, that which makes us human beings.
